At the medicus Medical Center, we are available for emergencies during our entire opening hours & provide reliable initial medical care without long waiting times or complicated procedures.
Whether you are already a patient with us or not: We treat all individuals regardless of insurance model or primary care affiliation. Your well-being & safety are our top priorities.
Not every emergency automatically means that an ambulance needs to be called or hospitalization is necessary. Many emergencies can be treated directly and safely in our practice. These include among others:
Sharp Acute Pain
Sudden, severe abdominal, chest, head, and back pain or other unclear symptoms
Acute Injuries
Cuts, scrapes, bruises, sprains, burns
Allergic Reactions
For example, after insect bites or food intake
Breathing problems
Acute shortness of breath, respiratory infections, asthma attacks, or COPD
Infections & Fever States
Acute urinary tract infections, flu, childhood diseases, ear infections, etc.

Emergency Team
Our experienced team combines broad general medical & surgical expertise with modern diagnostics. This enables us to quickly determine which treatment is necessary – whether it’s immediate on-site therapy, wound care, imaging assessment, or – if required – a swift referral to a hospital.
In case of severe, life-threatening emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, heavy bleeding, or serious accidents, please call the emergency number 144. For all other urgent but not immediately life-threatening cases, we are happy to be your first point of contact.
